My daughter and I both had lice and maria and Annie that was also working there did an amazing job taking everything out! Maria and Annie are very nice and helpful people. After my procedure was done she explained me what we should do afterwards and I had to purchase a lice treatment kit that works great. Today once I followed up with everything we didn't have anymore lice! We still have to be careful though and put the treatment in our hair every other day but I definitely recommend going to her if you have any lice. It's a clean office and they disinfect everything. If I have any questions I can also text her. I'm glad I went to her.

My 8 y.o. daughter is staying with her grandparents for the summer in NJ and last Saturday, I received a dreaded phone call from my dad, "Your daughter has head lice!"

Unable to take care of the situation physically myself and trusting only my own research (reading online reviews from multiple sources and calling most if not all available lice removal services in/around Bergen county for rates and to get a feel of how they answer their calls/my inquiries), I'm extremely glad that I trusted my instinct and decided to go with BLR (Bergen Lice Removal).

Maria, who is also the owner, is by far one of the most genuinely caring, understanding, patient and professional individual I have ever encountered in my entire adult life. From my initial inquiry call (her soothing tone) to my few follow up calls after my daughter's visit, she put me so at ease by understanding my situation, informing me on the details of my daughter's treatment and the necessary follow-up to-do's. I checked my phone record, +/- 50 minutes of total phone time, not a second did I feel Maria was rushing through it all, nor did I feel I was an annoyance for my many questions and uncertainty. My mom and daughter did mention how clean and private the location is and how nice Maria treated them.

Also, I called about 7 different lice removal services, pricing wise, BLR is the most reasonable one, which I'm quite sure is a major, if not the deciding factor for most consumers. But, the deciding factor on that day personally, was Maria's phone etiquette and the few initial Q&A's between us. I did mention this to Maria, one company (it'll remain nameless here) I called, started with "This call may be recorded for quality.....", so yes, it's one of the few nationwide, I guess "big-playa" of the lice removal industry some might say. I was greeted with a "Hello" and as soon as I responded with a few "Hello?"s, I realized that the rep. was finishing up a burger order she was placing with someone in the background without telling me or putting me on hold... smh!

This is a long and detailed review, but I feel like and I want to shine a spotlight on BLR and especially Maria, for her outstanding customer service and her professionalism. So, Thank you very much Maria, for turning a stressful and unwanted process into a painless and manageable one. Those "big-playas" have got nothing on you, in fact, they should learn from you!!!

Great service and super friendly staff! Would highly recommend for head checks or lice removal services.

Maria answered our call right away and was able to see us on a Friday night! She took the "ick" out of it for our family - and really helped my daughter not be afraid. She was great about following up with me and taught me how to handle all the at home follow up.

Very professional, helpful and accommodating. They were able to schedule my daughter for a lice check the same day she was thought to have lice and cleared her in time for me to get to a wedding! It was a huge help to a busy working mom!

I give Bergen Lice Removal a 5 star review!! I, unfortunately, got lice in the beginning of May. I was very shaken up, but the Lice Technicians calmed me down and helped me so much. I went to the salon that day and got treated. Three weeks later, I got lice again. I texted Maria very late at night and she answered me right away. We set up an appointment and they helped me again. Not only that, but the staff had checked in on me to see how I was doing every couple of days. I have already recommended Bergen Lice Removal to many people! The customer service is amazing, and I am very lucky to have found them! 

I would highly recommend Bergen Lice Removal! They go above and beyond to provide outstanding and compassionate care. Having 3 females with lice, all with long hair, and a house full of carpets, I was a nervous wreck, upset, and exhausted. Prior to meeting Maria, I had the lice on and off for 7 weeks most likely from my older daughter's summer camp, trying to battle with over the counter treatments and home remedies on these little ones. Despite my exhaustive efforts daily, the lice came back. Maria was very comforting and extremely honest. If you see her for treatment and follow her plan for maintenance and cleaning,

Just the thought of having lice can make anyone's skin crawl. It's embarrassing and lice doesn't discriminate no matter how old or young you are. Luckily I found Maria and BLR. Local, empathetic, and affordable. Maria provided immediate response time and made me feel relaxed in a discreet location.

I live in Central NJ and decided to call Bergen Lice Removal because I heard they were the best. Bergen Lice Removal responded quickly and was very thorough with the process. They were extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient.
